Mya has been dancing at the Joan Harris Centre since she was three years old and has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. She has performed in a countless number of the studio’s productions and recently has performed as Basilio’s friend in Don Quixote, a cygnet and prima swan in Swan Lake, and the Crystal Fountain Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty. Mya is a student aide and part of the studio’s desk staff. Mya has also participated in liturgical dance during Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve masses at St. Mary’s Church. In 2021, Mya graduated from Coughlin High School as the valedictorian of her class. She currently attends Wilkes University and is majoring in English. She is also a captain of the Wilkes Dance Team.
