

MELISSA REYNOLDS-APPEL – Instructor
Melissa Reynolds-Appel began her dance training at the Joan Harris Centre. She continued her dance education and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from DeSales University, located in Center Valley, Pa. While studying at DSU, she performed in many student and faculty ensembles. Melissa was hand selected by faculty and dance professionals to participate in three dance residencies. During this time, she had the opportunity to study and perform choreographic works presented by Marisa Cervias (New York City Ballet), Dan Joyce (Mark Morris Dance Company) and Sean Curran (Sean Curran Dance). Choreographically, Melissa enjoys creating memorable pieces for the studio, ones that will pull on the heartstrings. She also loves to work with the youngest generation of the JHC- the tots. Melissa is an Emotional Support Aide within the Wyoming Area School District. She is married to her best friend, Joe and is a proud mom to two beautiful daughters, Gia and Edie.
