A tradition for families from around the region for the nearly 40 years, the Joan Harris Dancer’s Holiday Extravaganza serves as the perfect break from all the distractions that come with the season. All the hustle and bustle that comes with this time of year, it is sometimes hard to get into that “Spirit of the Season”, but we have the perfect antidote for that problem. The event is deliberately intended to capture the spirit of the holidays, and begins as soon as the audience enters the theater. The performance itself opens with a large production number that is sure to set the scene and never loses pace as the songs progress from traditional favorites to contemporary renditions of the music that defines this most magical time of the year.

Traditional dances, inspirational lyrical pieces, and good old fashion song and dance routines will be staged to a plethora of seasonal classics. You can expect to whistle along to the music selected, as the show entices you to remember childhoods of old and all the memories they conjure up. Many will be moved by some of the more serious pieces and more will laugh during the always-present comic relief. Singer, actors, skilled dancers, beautiful sets and professionally designed lighting effects will all come to together in a show that offers something for everyone.
