The studio has been offering been offering theater courses throughout the year for over thirty seasons.  Starting with Enter Stage Right, the Back Stage Pass and now for the past ten years, Kirby Kidz the workshops have always followed the same philosophy as our approach to teaching dance.  We do not want to just have a student learn their part in a production, just like we do not want our dancers to just learn a routine.  We intend to train our children in all the aspects of the art that they are interested in.  Our theatrical workshops include professional instruction in character acting, method acting, theatrical movement, blocking, improvisation, chorus, reading music and more.  Currently we run an acting program in conjunction with the F. M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts each summer which concludes with two musicals performed at this famed theater in August.
